Amber Miller

Two women, one life-threatening disease, and the bond that brings them together. "Changing Hearts" is the moving story of a relationship which develops between good natured Amber Connors (Lauren Holly), and the irritable, bossy, older woman she befriends, Betty Miller (Faye Dunaway), when they are both diagnosed with breast cancer. As Betty fights off the advances of a former beau, Johnny Pinkley (Tom Skerritt), an aging charmer and hopeless romantic determined to win back Betty's heart, Amber finds love in a younger man, Jason (Ian Somerhalder) - a dashing but troubled young man whose path has fatefully crossed hers.
